Warning chim goes off when no one or any weight is on the passenger seat

Has anyone had this problem - the warning chime goes off when the passenger seat is empty? There is nothing on the seat -chime will sound for about 15 seconds and then stop. No lights on the panel - just the alert that the passenger belt not on.

This has happened randomly for about a month. The car has 22,500 miles and was purchased new.

I had the dealer check it out today - they can find nothing wrong. Both my wife and I drive this car and it has happened to both of us.
