Question Heated seats

Did anyone have heated seats added to their car? I'm thinking of having it done but i'm nervous of where they will post the control for the seats and if my seats will still look the same.

I have them in mine. They are already set up from the factory because the Canadian Yaris has them optional. Had to install the switch myself. Got from a cx3. Not worth it in my opinion they don't really get warm. Also you will have to disassemble quite a bit of the dash as the switch is replaced the one that tells you if the passenger seat belt and airbags is on... I will post a picture tomorrow.

I got mine from the Mazda cx3 same switch got from a car in the wreckers. I will tell you now it doesn't really work that great, it gets warm for like a couple minutes then after 10 min you don't feel it any more. (The switch is still illuminated.) I got it to try out but would advise to get some after market ones instead of spending $100 on the part.

Gotcha, appreciate the response! I don't think I will need it for the next 6 months here in NC, but would like to complete the look of the dash eventually. We're you able to track if it activates the mirror heat function as well?

Did you do an online search to find the wrecked CX-3?

DB1S-55-260. Found the part number and confirmed that it has the switches through two Mazda dealerships. About $115 online through various sources for the switch with shipping. Has to be imported through Canada, mine would be here next week.

Yes and everything i could find was in NY and you had to buy the whole car ?
I'm in VA and thougjt about juat going to look or call my local junk yards but from my knowledge they don't exactly put new cars in typical junk yards?
If you have any suggestions I'd love to hear!
