3rd tank, driving 70+ mph, stop and go in the afternoon; 350.7 miles: 7.92 gallons to fill = 44.28 mpg. Can't complain for a combined mpg. Going on a 4 day road trip this weekend with lots of fwy driving, hoping to get into the high 40's. Enjoying the ride!

39.4 mpg, probably about 20-25 miles of moderate stop and go traffic (avg speed then was 21 mph) and then 210 miles on the interstate (80-95 mph, dash said avg speed was 87 mph from when I got on to when I got off the interstate). 6 speed manual, running premium gas (92 octane from wawa) hand calculated at 39.4, dash readout 37.6, fast acceleration (or at least as fast as the car allows lol) and A/C on full blast first half of the trip, half power the other half.

Lowest was hand calculated 31, dash readout 29.4, in heavy standstill traffic about 12 miles each way (an hour and a half each way, Clearwater beach), and moderate traffic for about 100 miles total. Total of 225.7 miles. Round trip average speed was 17 mph. A/C cranking the whole time, driving as fast as I could in the traffic.

41.9 mpg as of last tank! 130 miles, filled up when I left the house, set my cruise at 65 on a mostly flat rural highway from here to crystal river and back, only one stop round trip. Running mid grade gas (89 octane) because they were out of premium.

My last tank I received a calculated mpg of 48.1 back and fourth to work. Nearing 3500 miles the computer is now indicating 1/2 more mpg than the last tank. Their cannot be much more...

52.9 mpg! I stuck to the rural roads instead of highways with traffic for the last tank and got almost 53 mpg with the windows down staying around 50-55 mph most of the time accelerating slowly (shifting before 3k rpm the whole time). I have the 6 speed manual and am at like 9-10k maybe a little more maybe a little less and around 2.5 months with the car

oh what the ****... my third fill (850ish miles) and it's sitting at about 35mpg ... fuelly thinks it's gained 1mpg or so since my last fill lol.
Aircon is on 50% of the time...
Lots of shorter 3-5 mile hops (work is 4 miles away so.. barely warmed up by the time i get there) This accounts for about 30% of milage...
Few highway drives a week, about 15-20miles each way, when cruising, am usually around 75-80... when in traffic, more crawling... thankfully most of the highway times i'm on are in the 70+ speeds.
Is this sounding normal so far? (my mpg)
Thanks

btw... Jin, how to get fuelly as my sig?

Sounds normal, depends how you drive. I have a similar commute, just many more miles, and if I'm not driving for fuel economy I'll get 30-33 mpg. If I take a different route where I'm staying at 40-50 mph with very few stops and less hills, I can get upwards of 50 mpg on my dash for that trip without much effort. That's also with the a/c off, and the windows open. I've found that this car gets better gas mileage with the windows open than with the a/c on regardless of speed.

yeah, getting the hang of what drive gives me best combo of efficiency and comfort...
when i do the commute down the highway, it's about 20 mile / 30 min drive ... and even with aircon on setting 1 or 2, it'll be over 40mpg.
my little hops tend to sit anywhere from 25-30mpg, usually with the aircon off.
i haven't tested this out, but does the higher the aircon setting, the less MPG?
thanks
