"that package would be too heavy"
I swapped the 185 /16s for 195/16s and believe I can feel the added unsprung mass, I will NOT put 205s on.
with good tyres I WOULD consider 185/65R15 on 15x6 6-UL wheels.

Hey there, I'm new too. Autocross, road trips and high MPG while still being fun to drive, are interests of mine as well. I had a Miata for a long time and did 6 seasons and change of autocross. I wanted a BRZ, but couldn't justify the cost.
I'm waiting on 949 Racing to do another production run of the 15x6 6-UL wheels. I want to trade "down" to 185/65R15. I'm also curious about running some wider 16's and putting 205/55 sport tires on. I'm concerned that package would be too heavy and/or eat into the fuel economy too much to want to run all the time though. Let me know if you try it out.

New Member Toyota Yaris
Hello All. I traded in for a 2019 Toyota Yaris Sedan L Manual last week. I checked the other forums - Yaris World, Toyota Owners Club, Toyota Nation - before I registered here. The other forums seem to only have topics for the older, non-Mazda, Yaris. I'm also going to register on the Mazda 247 forum, as there's a lot of support there. I'm interested in autocross, driving in the middle lane of the freeway, and MPG in long destinations. I'm keeping everything stock except tires and wheels.
I came from a 2011 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon - I loved that car - we went off roading and overlanding with it, but I needed to clear some cap space for a home project we're doing. I'm going to, for sure, get another one in the future.
Before the Wrangler I came from a Jeep Renegade Trailhawk. I was crossing the Mojave road and I realized that the car was not suitable for the things that I would be doing.
Before the Renegade I had a Scion FR-S.
Just wanted to say hello.
