Put a dab of silicone on all of the grounds or any connection points of all the wires to prevent corrosion. It my take a while to do but its very worth it.
Neodymium magnets on the flat side of your oil filter to catch the metallic particles small enough to normally just pass right through your oil filter.
I needed to replace the back window in my pickup and consulted a local glass shop, i was thinking to use normal silicone seal to build up a new gasket, the glass dude strongly disreccomended doing so.
the curing process releases corrosive gas that keeps working and eventually the window falls out because the body panels rust away.
they make silicone sealent for electronics, non corrosive, 's what i use.
