My 2016 Scion IA has around 125k on the clock. I was driving it home from vacation when the serpentine belt snapped. I didn’t realize what had happened until about 9 minutes later (I assumed I had just ran over something in the road, it was dark as it was 1 am) (rookie mistake ik) but I drove for about 9 mins with no alternator. All my lights came on at once and the car died in the middle of the highway. I had AAA tow the car to the local shop. He repaired the belt and reset all the lights (none were on prior to this incident) driving home from the mechanic the TPMS light came back on solid and the infotainment screen said TPMS Malfunction. And the light will not go off. Can driving with no alternator do damage to this system or is it a fluke that may work it’s way out in the next few days?

I'm not sure about your tire system, but the big news here is that the belt may break after 100k. My owner's manual has no mention of this in preventive maintenance. Thanks for posting this, and good luck in getting back to perfect.
