I don't know what this will do for sales, people seem less and less interested in getting an FR-S or BRZ with the way things are going.

If it got 50 more horsepower then I bet far more folks would jump on the opportunity to get one.

Many find it a little underpowered, so a power boost could definitely help things out. I am not sure how much, but it seems like the best choice they could have made. The truth is that the market for those vehicles is just fairly small in the first place, so you can only expect to sell so many.

That might be the case but one thing I know for sure is if they drop in the FA20T from the subaru forester would do a lot for the FR-S/BRZ, but that might be too soon for them to want to do. Too much too soon.
