My car is in the shop right now and it has bad fuel injectors, it had the same issue 6 months ago and this time i just going to replace them all. my question is, the dealership is also wanting to charge me 1300 dollars to remove the intake manifold and do a top engine clean to remove the carbon. is this really necessary? it seems like a ton of money to do a cleaning

I use Top Tier gasoline (there is a Top Tier website) in my car. I also use non-alcohol as l have a choice in OK. Also, everytime you get on the Interstate rev the engine up until it shifts. That is a big problem with new cars- people don't rev them to max rpm!
