Hi!
I am planning to do this installation and I am really interested in it, I already have several sources of information and the USB module.

But what scares me a bit is damaging my SW.
I don't know anyone who already has it installed on their 2016 Scion ia or Toyota Yaris R.

I just need to update from 55.00.753 NA N to 70.00.335 NA

Do any of you know someone who did it successfully?

I installed 70.00.100 NA on my 2016 Scion IA. Worked like a champ.

Can you please tell me how you did it? I recently bought a Scion iA and I want to do this. What page did you get the update from? And where did you get the retrofit kit?

I found it a couple of weeks ago in this thread: Mazda CONNECT MZD Firmware ,CP/AA, WCP, links, Help

I used a trickle charger to make sure that the battery/computer didn't die during the update. Good luck, follow all of the steps and you won't have any problem. Also, I loaded the AIO update ahead of time to make sure I didn't lose access to my USB port during the updates (and I wanted to enable the touch screen).
