My 2016 Scion iA has been having delayed starts, and now the car won't turn over and the DSC Malfunction, TPMS system malfunction, SCBS Malfunction, dead battery light, EPS malfunction light, and AT lights all are on. Can anyone clarify what's going on with my car?
Sounds like a dead battery to me. If it is original, I would replace it, if it has been replaced, I would have it tested. You can get all kinds of warnings when there is not enough power.
Unsure whats going on, but when i had all the same problems, i solved it by pumping the brakes a few times before trying to turn it over. My car showed battery issues, had it tested and it was perfectly fine, same make model and year
I had some wiring to the transmission chewed up by rodents, and it caused similar symptoms. Bu t was able to start car, just was in "limp mode", with warning lights. Had to get connection and wiring repaired, $400
Look at the VIN number to see if everything is OK with the battery. I advise you to contact the dealer service center or use the Saturn car history reports service to find out Epicvin's decoder and I am always happy with the quality of this service
The DSC, TPMS, ect lights all come on at the same time when the car has noticed something fucked up, and throws the car into limp mode.
Definitely sounds like battery is dead. Get it tested. Get the alternator tested as well. They tend to enjoy dying.
