My wife and I are going to take a very close look and test drive a Toyota Yaris iA. I have found articles talking about people sleeping in a Yaris Hatchback but never about people sleeping in a Toyota Yaris iA. Do any of you know about someone sleeping in a iA? Please let me know if you do. Thanks for your help.

This is the one category where I really miss my Prius! This car is definitely not designed for sleeping! I work crazy hours, and often catnap in my car, and its quite difficult in my iA. The head rest just centers oddly on my head, and it's really uncomfortable.
Also it's not a hatchback, and generally not a roomy interior at all, but it does have great trunk space. I don't even think lowering the seats and hopping into the trunk would work as the seats don't lower flush like my old Prius did. #bucketseats

You are probably not thinking the same thinking I am when you say sleeping in an iA. I did a camping conversion on mine by stripping the back seat and passenger seat out and fitting a plywood platform covered in automotive carpet down the right side of the car. I can pack all the gear and food for a week long camping trip without even having to rearrange the gear to sleep. I also outfitted the back windows with mosquito mesh so I can roll down the windows at night.
