Just wondering what everyone is experiencing, so far my driver window auto up/down isnt working, and my transmission has a hard shift from 1-2

And I hate the gas pedal lol

Other than that its great, I have no other issues, well I've found the car doesn't like to close 2 doors at the same time haha

My only issue is a rattle in the dash above the instrument cluster. I figure I will look into it one day when im feeling frisky.

Tegwin - Regarding the Window auto up/down: Did you unhook the battery when you checked out the ECU (from another post)? If so, that can sometimes reset the auto up/down feature and keep it from working. I will look in the manual and see if it says how to reinstate it.

Edit: Page 117 of the manual says "If the battery was disconnected during vehicle maintenance or for other reasons, the window will not fully open and close automatically"

To reset it:

Switch the ignition to ON
Make sure that the power window lock switch located on the driver's door is not depressed.
Press the switch and fully open the window.
Pull up the switch to fully close the window and continue holing the switch for about 2 seconds after the window fully closed.

In comparison to most of the fuel reports published here by owners I do recall seeing someone reporting lower than normal MPG's, which I hope improves over time and not what will become a problem for a portion of iA owners.

I did, and thats good to know, I wonder if its the same way for other cars, I notice it a lot on cars I jump start, or change the battery in for work.

Ill do that when I get home from universal Orlando haha

As for MPG, im getting roughly 40 combined

Wind noise from the driver's door - only at highway speed (70mph), that's annoying.
Not really a problem - the steering takes some getting used to, feels a bit odd compared to my Jeep and Land Rover. I guess a subcompact does not need a positive steering feel huh?

My car feels very solid in the steering, better than my 02 camaro actually lol idk about a jeep or LR, but the iA seems to have a sporty steering rack, even for being a class B subcompact

My natural instinct is that a Jeep and Land Rover would definitely have a different feel to steering than the iA.

Do you find the steering weird only in comparison to your previous vehicles, or is it strange even when you evaluate it a vacuum?

I find the feel of the steering a bit odd, I can't exactly say why. Maybe it's just the feel of the electric power steering. Mostly at highway speed, they are supposed to have speed adaptive steering, maybe it's just that it is less sensitive at highway speed. Anyway I'll get used to it.
My 2015 Jeep Cherokee also has electric power steering, but being a heavier car etc it feels different, and the Land Rover is a whole different story. This is about my 15th new car, always something different ;)
But a fun drive none the less and light on gas, which is my main criteria.

The only gripe I have is the visibility looking over my left shoulder.
It may just be my position, but I see the B pillar and C pillar with very little space between, causing me to move my head quite a bit to get a clear view.

Totally agree. The steering feel and handling is a huge surprise for such a cheap car. Combined with its light weight, I feel like I'm driving a go kart!

I can't stand how the car shifts to 2nd at 3mph, makes the car big so much out of a stop sign our yield intersection, I dive in manual most of the day because of the **** transmission. I'm defiantly getting a 6spd next lol

Well the manual has been generally cast as the better of the two transmission types. Better speed, acceleration, etc...

If you know how to drive stick, get the manual. I know that's a little too late for you. :(

That just goes to show, it all comes down to your reasons for going either direction and what you need out of a vehicle.

If you want a fun commuter... manual.

If you just want to commute... auto.

I prefer the latter since I have the space and capital to get a car primarily based around pure fun.
