I was just wondering: is it necessary to make the car honk when locking the doors and exiting the vehicle in order to activate the alarm? I know this is the manual but I am currently away from my manual.

I think that manual is posted on the site somewhere. Seems like one of those things where you might have to go into the back end in order to get to the setting.

Thanks, that's something i'll have to do as well. Hate making it obvious that I locked my vehicle since when I do lock it, i'm within a couple feet.

I've been trying to figure out a way to disable the horn on lock!
Where exactly is it located?
