Hello everyone,
I'm new to the scene as this is my first time on a forum. I own a Scion iA 6speed manual and am looking for opportunities to upgrade various parts and features on my car to give it the best bang for its buck. Primarily focusing on audio and visual upgrades for now but am planning to enhance the performance in the future.

Welcome, beaware of Jin he's the # 1 troll on this forum. He was recently banned but something he sneaks back out of his bunk bed. Also for audio stuff look at the M3R forum. I use android auto on mine and probably couldn't live without it.

Duly noted. Ill check out the M3R forum and see if I can get something there. If my information is correct, the iA has the engine of a Mazda 2 and the Transmission of a Miata. an interesting combination but it still does little to no help when searching for things such as turbo/super chargers, air intake kits, lowering kits, and suspension strengtheners. Thanks for the feedback!

Do the Miata and Mazda2 have the same trans then? Because this should have the same one as the Mazda2, and the Miata is rwd so wouldn't the trans be different than the fwd Mazda2 and Scion iA, or the same as both?

It was something I read online somewhere so I can't necessarily verify its accuracy. I'm actually hoping that someone on this forum site may know almost anything and everything about the car to give me better insight as to what these vehicles are truly made out of. I know that this car is based primarily on the Mazda2 but as far as anything else goes I cannot say the information is accurate. Apologies if there is any confusion.

Don't try and do much performance stuff it won't do to much. Audio and visual sound good though focal and rainbow make reference line of speakers now that aren't too expensive about the same best buy would charge for kicker speakers.

I'd like to lower mine though ugh that graphite and abyss blue so sexy I have white kinda regret it right now until the black accents start to happen

Being a mechanic, I adamantly refuse to purchase a white vehicle or light interior vehicle since it gets dirty just by me looking at it lol.

As for the audio, I'm a bit of an audio junkie and have put sound systems in almost every car I've ever owned because nothing to me sounds better than the vibration of my eardrums when I'm cruising down the road. In fact I'm currently working on building a sub box for my trunk (which I never use anyways) and will be replacing the current amp with better one when I install it.
