jUST GOT MY SCION IA AND IM HAVING THE HARDEST TIME TRYING TO FIND A ROOF RACK TO PUT BIKES ON TOP!


if ANYONE HAS SOLVED THIS PROBLEM PLEASE HELP!!

Probably going to have a hard time finding something specifically for the iA for a bit, as the car is still a new model. There are some universal roof racks that might work.

I'm sure there is a universal one available if you look around. ebay, Amazon, and CarID are three places I would suggest looking. Oh, and Mazda.

The Scion iA is a rebadged Mazda 2 sedan, so most of the parts are exactly the same.

Suggest a hitch rack w 1 1/4 inch hitch. Have it setup on my iA with a fold up Yakima rack that works well for two bikes. Loss of mpg is not noticeable whereas roof bike racks can cost 5 mpg.

Roof racks are more of a pain when it comes to mounting and dismounting your bikes. A hitch rack would be better if one is available.

I don't have a roof rack option but this Curt trailer hitch is fairly cheap and easy to install (I will be buying this soon).

Have the Curt hitch with Yakima Rack on my iA (photo).

Just bought the hitch and a Swagman Chinook 2 rack. Will be installing it once I get home from Denmark.

Thule and Yakima do not fit the iA at this time, but Inno does with their SU rack.

Inno's INA744 is one of our most popular locking surboard carriers.
