Hey everyone, I was just browsing the web and figured I'd give you guys a heads up, if you haven't found this already. From a blog entry, it looks as if Tanabe has some springs and a front strut brace in the research & development phase. Looks like we'll be getting some goodies pretty soon!

Take a look:

Thanks a lot, it's about time they came out with something, always imagined them being one of the first.

Would be great if they did before and after testing, that would really sell people on the idea of picking up parts.

I think it will come all in due time. Between Tanabe and RS-R now, I feel like there might be a little bit more of a push being that there is some competition now.

have you looked into ordering the tein springs at all?
I didn't think they had any iA specific options yet...?

I've seen the Demio (DJ chassis) springs, but not sure if there would be a significance in weight between the 3-door and sedan.

I don't have enough cash to try out and see if the Demio stuff will work well and don't wanna risk that until they are confirmed.

Are you buying the updated chassis because you really want to work the car in to turns as far as racing the car goes? Could a person just buy a 2017 Toyota iA Yaris and enjoy the ride as is? Does it wander in to turns with it's stock equipment?

Shipping alone on the would be brutal, best to wait for it to be confirmed and some vendor willing to bring in a batch of them.
