My wife ran over what looked like a prison shank in her new iA. The tire shop refused to patch it because of where it was located, and a new tire would have run over $140. I took it home myself, pulled out the shank, and put my own patch on. Months later, holding strong. Problem is, when I laid the tire down in my garage to work the bead off the wheel got scratched pretty good. No deep gouges that need to be filled, but if you look close you can tell it got roughed up. For a brand new car this sticks out like a sore thumb. Short of buying a whole new wheel, where could I find paint for the stock wheels?

One tire size wider is like 90 for a tire and no those rims are exspensive for no reason better off buying a set of after market rims which probably look better on craigslist. 4x100

I really think I commented on this but for some reason can't see my reply... But nonetheless, I think going out and getting new wheels because of a few scratches on one is a bit extreme... ?

You can check with automotive parts stores since they tend to have a range of paints you can try and match up perfectly to what your OEM finish is like. Or you can always contact a company that specializes in wheel repair and see what they say, maybe their pricing will be good enough for you.

Keep us posted on what direction you plan to go.

A lot of places like PartSource and what not, not too sure on you're location, but they have a good selection of touch up paints.
