I just got my BlackVue DR470-2CH today and I'm not too sure where to mount the front camera. The pre-collision system takes up the entire space behind the mirror so I can't place it there like how many people suggest. Does anyone have any ideas?

I'm going to bump this as I don't want to open another thread. Anyone know the voltage and amperage of the lights right there at the mirror? I don't have the collision system, but would like to hardwire my camera.

just buy chip ampere-meter on amazon its like $12....

Already did. I think I got a 12 volt read coming out of the collision system. I thought I didn't have one, I do. It's just not active. I'm thinking about wiring it in inside of that containment.
